Three ingredients, lots of internet noise. We asked our nutrition scientist to unpack D-Mannose, cranberry and salvia — without the hype.
Urinary wellness is one of the most searched — and least openly discussed — topics in women’s health. Let’s look at three ingredients you’ll often see together, one at a time.
D-Mannose
D-Mannose is a simple sugar closely related to glucose, found naturally in fruits like cranberries, apples and peaches. Unlike glucose, much of it passes through the body without being used for energy.
Cranberry
The famous red berry
Cranberries contain compounds called proanthocyanidins (PACs). Research on cranberry and urinary health is ongoing, and results vary between studies — which is why we focus on consistent daily use rather than big promises.
Salvia (sage)
Sage has a long history in traditional wellness practices across Europe and Asia. It’s included for its aromatic compounds and to round out the formula.
| Ingredient | Source | Type |
|---|---|---|
| D-Mannose | Fruits (e.g. cranberries, apples) | Simple sugar |
| Cranberry extract | Vaccinium macrocarpon | Fruit extract (PACs) |
| Salvia | Salvia officinalis leaf | Herbal extract |
